Ahhhh - 80s today a light breeze - but when the sun goes down it cools right down into the 60s with lows in the 40s - Wish you northern folks could be enjoying some of this Chamber of Commerce weather here in the SW |

We have gotten a "reprieve" from the onset of summer heat - several fronts pasing to the north keeping us breezy and cool - 70s low 80s the last few days - but alas the 100s are coming by the first of the week |

SW extreme heat in AZ and a devasting wildland fire near where we live in AZ and sadly 19 firefighters lost - still hot here in SW Co as well - some showers in the mountains - but little relief to the heat and severe drought |

Here in the Four Corners area we are getting a little relief - large storm came through late last night - lots of lightening and got .2" rain - but with the lightening came the inevitable - fire - a small one about 1/4 mile from us but BLM was out early and got it out - thankful for all their efforts - hope everyone in the East is not totally fried - lol |
