Hey there, everyone. I'm curious if many of you attend the Food and Wine festival every year?
Many years back we went to WDW for our anniversary, which happens to be in October. We were pleasantly surprised to find the F&W festival going on, and we quite literally ate our way around the park. I had escargot for the first time and was surprised to say I enjoyed it.
I was wondering if anyone else was a regular attender. We're thinking about going back this October - is there something else we should be looking for beyond the booths around the World Showcase? |

Try and time visits to overlap a bit of the festival, but unfortuantely with the prices the mouse is getting for admission these days there is no way I could even think of going annually, or even bi-annually. Frankly Disney is quickly pricing me out of their market. |

I heard you on that front. When we lived in California we were Premium Passholders (we just loved the power of going whenever we wanted). We did that a few years in a row and every year the price kept climbing and climbing. Our last year it was $1,000 for the two of us.
Then the kid turned 4 ... |

With the prices these days . . My honeymoon cost less than taking the family to Disney for a week on site and buying admissions/Food. (And I went ti Disney as part of the honeymoon!)
thank goodness for family cast members or I'd never be able to afford going. |

Ah, see, yeah - if you have that perfect in then that's a different story (and I'm quite jealous).
I'm not sure if you've ever heard of the book "Waking Walt" - it's a pretty decent (slightly flawed) book written in the 1990s built around the legend of Walt Disney being frozen in cryogenics. There's a great passage in the book where Walt - no unfrozen and incognito - tries to get into Epcot and is shocked at the ticket prices and he can't help but get upset with the girl selling the tickets. |

We go every year and make the most of it. We buy the prepaid arm bands then start eatingsnd drinking! This year will be different since I now have an annual pass. I'll be spending more days there this year. Can't wait! °o° _________________ John |

Haven't been yet but today is Off Kilter's last performance so it should be a mob scene! _________________ John |
