So, yesterday, being one of my most FAVORITE days of the year, was April Fools Day. Now, normally I spend a lot of time thinking up ways to trick as many people as possible. But with schedules and work and all, I just didn't have the time to do like I normally do. But my youngest, a mere 15 years old, did me proud I say, PROUD!
She posted a MySpace Bulletin that I was being transferred to North Carolina for work and she would have to move. She received MANY responses to her post, with all her friends being upset that she would have to leave. deb then received a phone call from a friend of ours, distraught that we were leaving her. But the best one came later in the evening.
I was on my PC, deb and Bug were in the living room watching TV when the phone rang. Elizabeth said she’d get it and within moments, she was laughing and said who it was…my other daughter Dori. I started to laugh and couldn’t stop! It was at that moment that I realized that Dori, who wasn’t paying attention to WHAT day it was, read her bulletin and thought we were moving away. I laughed harder! The poor thing was initially upset because we hadn’t told her we were moving away…her boyfriend said to call and find out what was up. I laughed harder! I apologized to her, laughed more, and she also got a tickle out of it. All in all, it was one of the best jokes I’d ever seen.
Elizabeth, I am so proud of you! I’ve taught you well! _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

-bows dramatically-Thank you, thank you! It was a pretty good joke. But my favorite response came today at school, when I told my friend Jandlyn. She came over and hugged me really tight at the shoulders and wouldn't let go. Then she said to my other friend Jason, "Go get the chains, she's NOT leaving." I started laughing and said,"Jandlyn, what was yesterday?" She thought about that for a minute, then said, "So you're not really leaving?" I said no and she let me go. Then we stood there for a minute, looking at each other, then we both burst out laughing. THAT was my favorite. It was just SOOOOOO funny. And thanks Kali! _________________
