THat's great!
I say use it, unless you bought it to be an investment. It's more fun that way. You could probably use it to store other "treasures". I don't think you want to take it into the office with a lunch in it.
I still use my '67 Disneyland Pictorial Coffee Mug everyday at the office for it's intended purpose. |

My wife collects lunch boxes, so we have them displayed on top of our kitchen cabinets, so I figured I should have at least one lunch box up there myself. |
