| Well it's been a few degrees above normal. They are calling for 88 today. It hit 90 yesterday. Just outside Chicago. |

| in mid 60's this morning, sky blue and clear. looks like it will be a nice day. I did notice a few of the trees in the area are starting to have their leaves turn. |

Rain, rain , and more rain to come.  Already got a little over 6 inches of rain in the last day or so here. Still forecasting more heavy rain tonight and tomorrow  |

Recorded a little over 7.5 inches of rain yesterday. Forecast says to prepare for another 2-7 inches more due to Hurricane Ike crossing the region. PLEASE sump pump don't fail me now.  |
