Ooh, litigation-always good for some drama! Maybe some sort of copyright infringement, regarding a logo or character, perhaps?

Not sure if there was any litigation, believe it was more negotiations. Nothing to do with a logo or character however.

They didn't own the land exactly, but something very close to the land.

Yes! For some reason they owned the mineral rights. Sold them
To Disney for $15k apparently.

The only reason I even thought of the mineral rights was because I caught an old episode of the Rifleman last week where some shady big city shyster was trying to trick Lucas out of the mineral rights to his ranch.

Robert and Kristen Anderson-Lopez are most famous for penning all the music and lyrics in the "Frozen" soundtrack, but prior to that, they wrote all the music for what in-park show?
