Pirates of the Caribbean 3

OK, I've scoured the web and I've come up with nothing thus far about a 'real' trailer for the third Pirates film. I've heard rumors that they're showing a teaser before Ghost Rider, but not much else.

Anyone else heard anything?

nope--nothing official...it's about time though. I'd think the disney website would have at least a couple teasers at this point.

Hmmm....it will be out before we know it!

i rarely get excited about movies, much less trailers...but this one's an exception! i'm so curious, and the anticipation is killing me!

In case you haven't heard, the trailer will be debuted today in 20 cities for the Pirate Ultimate Fan Event. Then tomorrow it will be shown during Dancing with the Stars. After that it will have a global launch.

If you want to see it for yourself, visit the main Tell No Tales page (scroll down to the bottom of the page).

My city was one of the lucky ones, so I'll be heading out to see the trailer in about two hours.

The new movie looks awesome. There are some pretty dramatic CGI effects. There was a scene with one ship (I'm thinking it was the Black Pearl) facing a huge fleet of other ships (possibly pirate ships), and a whirlpool between them. Another scene in the trailer is the Black Pearl going off the edge of the earth (via a waterfall).

The trailer (Russian language version) was briefly on You Tube, but it was pulled by Disney. I guess everyone will have a chance to see it in about 15 hours.
