We're in sunny CA, which really isn't all that sunny right now but it's supposed to be. We're headed out for breakfast and to partake in a fun activity that I've never done before; target shooting.

We'll let you know how that went and hopefully there will be pictures to share.

Have a great day everyone!

We had such fun at target shooting. Wait until you see the pictures. I have to take pictures of our targets so once that's done David or I can post everything. I shot with 4 different guns and David and tE shot with 5. There was no way I was touching the last one they used. Shocked

We used a 22, a 45, 357 magnum, and a 44. tE and I then tried a 500. It's a freaking hand cannon! It was as loud as the biggest fireworks explosion you hear in the parks! YIKES! If deb had tried it, it would have put her through the wall! Her shooting the 357 for the first time was a riot! The recoil and surprise were priceless!

We have some pictures of us shooting, and deb will post pictures of the targets.

It really was a alot of fun (but MAN that 500 scared the...the...it scared me a lot!)

That sounds like a great day. The largest caliber I've ever fired is a 44. I can only imagine that 500. being amazing.
This is me being very jealous. Razz
I hope you all had a great Day

When trying to picture Deb firing the 500, does anyone else see the scene from Police Academy 4 (with Mrs Feldman)?

That is why I DID NOT fire with that one. I saw David fire with it first and the three of us looked at each other and said "NO!". Wink

First the bike, now the gun. DP will want one. It's bad enough the roads are unsafe.

Sounds like fun! Can't wait for the pics. I can't say I've ever shot anything more than a BB gun - and I can't even remember what that was like anymore.

That sound like a lot of fun. Very Happy

I shot some really cool stuff when I was in the Army but nothing
like a 500. That would have been real cool to try. Very Happy

Can't wait to see the pics. Very Happy

I promised you pictures, so here they are:

Here's me:

Here's my target after my first try shooting. I don't think I did that bad.

Here's the target tE, David and I shot at. tE's shots are of the head, David's are on the left side of the body and mine are the right side of the body.

David shooting the 500. Look at the size of that gun:

David's first target:

Here's the front of the target tE and David used when shooting with the 500:

And now the back. Notice how big the holes were:
