Yes WDWFAN I heard all about it. Neither reason is correct. It's actually coming down because it is needed elsewhere. What that means? I don't know. I'll have more on this another time, but for now I gotta go to work.

I am surprised by this. I would think having the arm shaped the way it is would sort of limit its other uses, and I'd think structurally building a new one would be better than cutting this one up and then trying to re-assemble it.

If you have more information, please share...

I'm not sure exaclty what thay're planning. The story I heard is it's being moved. I don't know why they didn't just call megamovers, and move it in one piece. My friend who's in management in WDW was supposed to give me the info, but I haven't heard from him yet. Once I do, I'll let you know. (maybe it's going to become a bridge?)

I heard it is going to be moved to MK so that it can hold a giant match to light the Birthday Cake Castle Part 2 Wink

Surprised Could they be moving it to the MK so it can light the firework show and they can "down size" Tinkerbell and allow her to "pursue other opportunities"? Surprised

(Can you downsize a pixie?)

Well I finally got the info on it, and it looks like disney is still headed in the same direction it's been in. This comes directly to you from a friend of mine who's coworker's sister in law is married to a barbor to one of the Imagineers. Eatmon you must have submitted your idea to them, and we can now all thank you for that. Looks like they're going to use it. Some other concept art was drawn up too.

I used the Eisner pic to show how Disney is going in the same direction as it was in the late 90's. I was gonna use Stich's pic, but it seemed funnier and more offensive to have one of Disney's greatest villians pasted onto the cake. Now that the pics are posted, I actually think they're not that bad. The one's that say pixar look just like the actual epcot sign. I can't wait until that comes out as a monorail accessory.

Okay. I've been away for a week and haven't obsessed about this. But...I'm back.

From what I've seen and read, there is still some of the structure to be taken down, but all traces of the hand and wand are gone. Most if not all of the stars have been removed, but the anchors they were connected to are still there.

This rumor is being mentioned on several sites and podcasts, not sure who originated it....

But, "Tomorrow's Child" has been rerecorded for the new SSE... Kellie Coffey has rerecorded this classic theme....

Kellie was the artist who recorded "We Go On" and "The Promise" for Illuminations: Reflections of Earth....

Sounds really cool....!!
