Free Beer Tomorrow!

Okay. Now that I have your attention.

Time is winding down on August, and I know many people are on vacation or looking forward to the last long weekend of the summer. I would like to encourage all UAB listeners and posters, as well as those of you who just check in to read, to help UAB reach it's fund raising goal for the month. (Hey! this almost sounds like PBS.)

I'm not an admin in any way, but am making a personal plea to all of you.

Since UAB has upgraded, I am enjoying the site more. With faster response times and an evergrowing selection of park music,this site has really grown. I visit other sites which actually charge a fee to take advantage of some of the features we receive such as viewing pictures and video.

Please throw a few bucks to UAB. Come on! You know you're only going to waste it on food, shelter and clothing. Maybe braces for the dog or something.

Say thanks to UAB. Don't make me beg! Do it just to shut me up.

Frank, thank you for your plea. You'll be happy to know we DID reach our goal this month. Yesterday we received two checks in the mail totalling $65. You guys make it so easy for us to bring you the magic every day. Very Happy

I'll give you all the free beer you can drink on Sunday. The only catch, you have to run from your house to mine. That's only about 15 miles, right.

Do you have a time goal for the marathon? After all, the sooner you finish, the sooner Frank can start buying the beers at the Rose & Crown Drink
