I remember riding them in the early 80's with my family. My brothers used to threaten to throw me out. You can find them now in Lake Eola, which is in downtown Orlando.

Wiki says...
"Orlando Swan Boats
The Swan Boats at Lake Eola in Orlando, Florida are not the same as the ones at Walt Disney World. They are often rumored to be the same."

I rode the swan boats on my 2 visits there as a kid.
I thought they were awesome!!
I like riding all the watercraft down there now too, but the swan boats were pretty special. I remember my disapointment in 1983 when my wife and I made our first visit together, and they had been closed for just a short time.

I kind of felt the same about the Skyway tram ride, and the what is probably next on the hit-list, the Tomorrowland Transit Authority. I like being able to take a litle mini-tour of the park. I think that all of these were just as iconic as the Railroad is, and I dont think they would EVER consider dropping the railroad.

I'd be cautious of taking Wikipedia for fact as well. like many other internet sites, it too should be read with a grain of salt and verified.

Are you kidding me!! They're seriously considering closing the TTA. That's one of my favorite attractions!

That is so cool! I never realized what that pavillion looking structure was, or that there was ever anything down there! Did the boats go all the way around the circle in front of the castle? Here is an areal view I was studying.

From what I've read about them they even went into adventureland. Where they have the remote control boats was once part of the route. Widen your world has a good article.
