I've been reading rumors and posts that we could soon see Wall-E in the parks. Several of those rumors have discussed that this Wall-E could be part of Disney's Character Initiative.
All of the rumors have placed Wall-E at DHS, back in the Animation area... which is a good possibility, because this is where Disney sets up meet and greets for the new movie characters.
I am not sold on Wall-E being part of the Character Initiative, at least not on the scale of Lucky or the Mobile Muppet Lab. If he was advanced as these, more rumors would have been floating around for a really long time. I don't think you can get that advanced without significant design and development time. Unless this has been keep extremely top secret, but it's doubtful...
I think Wall-E will probably be more along lines as Lightening McQueen and Mater from Cars. Some movement and interation, but not as advanced as Lucky and the MML.
But still, if he is half as cute in person as he is in the movie, he will be a huge success!
Here is some posts at Screamscape regarding Wall-E:
Quote: | Park News - (4/25/0 Screamscape sources have confirmed that we will see a Wall-E mobile animatronic character running around just in time for the movie’s release. Wall-E is said to be quite cute and stands about 3 feet tall. From the sound of things Disney has elected to build a Wall-E for each coast.

And don't get upset West Coasters... Disney has built two!:
Quote: | Park News - (4/25/0 While I’m not exactly sure about the location or even which park he will call home, Screamscape sources have confirmed that we will see a Wall-E mobile animatronic character running around just in time for the movie’s release. Wall-E is said to be quite cute and stands about 3 feet tall. Wall-E would be right at home in Tomorrowland of course, but it’s crowded streets could make California Adventure a more inviting home. Plus California Adventure also served as the testing grounds for the two previous characters, Lucky the Dinosaur and the Muppet Mobile Labs. More when we find out.

He'll probably be like the garbage can in Tomorrowland or Palm Tree in AK. Still cool though. |

A system like PUSH would be great. Gives the kids who will go see the movie and enjoy it another magical expierience. I liek how PUSH will know your name. WALL-E should be the same. |
