We're currently here in Sunny (FINALLY!) California and we decided to do something different BESIDES Disneyland so we purchased tickets for the Warner Bros Studio Tour. We decided to splurge on the deluxe tour since it's longer, includes lunch in the executive dinning area, and you get more access to areas that the other 2 hour tour doesn't get to see.
It's supposed to be a 5 hour tour, ours went for 6! We got to see the backlot area, the front lot area, we went to talk to the sound mixing artists, and even got to walk on the sets of Chuck and Two and a half men. For lunch, we even got to dine with Christopher Nolan...and when I say we dined with him, I mean we were in the same room at COMPLETELY different tables...be he was dining, and we were dining...so....anyway...
The tour was great. You get to see a lot of history, a lot of current stuff and things that you won't see anywhere else. It's a pricey tour, but if you're really into movies or just want to see what it's really like, this is the perfect tour.
Oh, and the WB lot...just up the street from Disney Studios!
If you've got the time and the money, give it a shot, I'll bet you like it. _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.
