Disney to sell annual pass good for all its U.S. theme parks

Disney announced today that it will begin selling new annual passes good for admission to both Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
The âDisney Premier Passportâ will cost $700 plus tax and include admission to all four theme parks and both water parks in Orlando and both theme parks in Anaheim, Calif. Sales begin tomorrow.
Walt Disney Co. Chief Executive Officer Bob Iger unveiled the pass this morning in remarks to attendees at Disneyâs annual shareholder meeting in San Antonio.
Disney says guests already holding premium any style of annual or seasonal passes to both Disney World and Disneyland (excluding Epcot after 4 passes and the promotional four-day âdreamâ passes) will automatically be issued the new Premier Passport. Guests with annual or seasonal passes to one of the resorts can upgrade âfor an additional fee.â

Breaking newsâŚwe just announced during Disneyâs annual shareholders meeting that a new premium annual pass for admission to the parks at both Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort will be offered beginning Thursday. Itâs called âDisney Premier Passportâ and itâll feature the same benefits you get with the âpremiumâ annual passes for Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts for $700, plus applicable- sales tax.
So, whatâs in it for you? At Walt Disney World:
â˘Unlimited admission for a period of one year to all four Walt Disney World Theme Parks, including the ability to visit multiple parks on the same day.
â˘Unlimited admission to Disneyâs Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach Water Parks
â˘Unlimited admission to DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex (valid only on event days; some events require an additional admission charge) and Disneyâs Oak Trail Golf Course (greens fee only. Tee time reservations are required and subject to availability)
â˘Parking at all four Theme Parks
â˘Subscription to Mickey Monitor, a collectible Passholder-only publication
And at Disneyland Resort:
â˘Unlimited admission to both Disneyland and Disneyâs California Adventure Parks for a period of one year, including the ability to visit multiple parks on the same day.
â˘Parking at any pay-on-entry parking lot
â˘Subscription to Backstage Pass.
â˘Complimentary subscription to Disneyâs Family Fun Magazine (one per household)
If youâre already holding a Premium Annual Pass for both Resorts, youâll automatically be issued a âDisney Premier Passportâ â with an expiration date based on the later of the two annual passes. You may also upgrade your annual or seasonal pass for one resort to a âDisney Premier Passportâ for an additional fee.
