I went with the Riverboat... It's so evocative of the frontier, I love riverboats in general, I'm a growing fan of Mark Twain himself, and the narrative where he talks about "Mark Twain" being the sweetest sound to a riverboatman's ears send chills up my spine.
The weird thing is that most of my associations with it come from a non-Disney film: the 1986 Claymation film The Adventures of Mark Twain, which is an amazing, sincere, philosophically deep, wistful and aesthetically beautiful.
Tom Sawyer's Island could have won if Ft. Wilderness wasn't closed down though. I waited my whole dang life to see that, and it was closed??! _________________ Daily departures for Atlantis, Treasure Planet, Mysterious Island, Island at the Top of the World, and more.

Although Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a great 5minute adventure my vote has to go to the Mark Twain Riverboat. Not only is it one one of the most relaxing trips you can take but the fact there are actually things to see along the river's edge make it that much better. |

I'm going with Thunder Mountain as well. I love the Mark Twain boat, but after the lengthy refurb last summer and their frequent closings it's really frustrated me. I went on it at the end of August and a lot of the really basic effects weren't even functioning, not to mention having no new effects after that long of a refurb. Like the burning settler's cabin....wasn't burning. Along with the absence of the alligator that used to be at the little dock where the guy is fishing. Just isn't the same for me now. |

I voted for Tom Sawyer Island - I can't think of another area quite like it in the park - I guess I just like the theming, and LOVE the caves!!! |
