I'm not sure if they use PUSH technology, Lucky technology, or just plain old Disney Magic.
These wireless robots try not to act remote

Amazing... I read something on Jim Hill regarding this a few months ago.
I looked at the clip, and take a look, but it appears as if this is built on a SEGWAY frame!... I only see the two wheels for mobility with outriggers for tipping emergency... The mind starts to run amock with where this might go... |

We're planning a long weekend trip in June (to hopefully see friends working at their Disney Dream Job). I hope the Muppets will still be there during that time.
I regret that I never had the chance to see Lucky.

That was my first thought as well! I've heard that te relationjship between Segway and Disney is pretty strong....wouldn't surprise me if they used the technology a lot more.
Sounds like a fun addition....especially if it actually gets to stay at Disney's California Adventure rather than being carted off to Florida! (and then into "hibernation")

The article says "hibernation".
I'mhoping after this week's testing they'll be able to do whatever they need to do to have them roaming around by April! That would be a fun site to see!!
