I'll be running a road race early, hopefully before it gets hot. Then I plan on doing nothing the rest of the day. No parties, no cookouts, no parades.
I will cook something on the grill for Donna and me, and drink some beer.

After dark I will be lighting off some fireworks, even if they are not legal here.

I'll be doing a different kind of road race - a 10-hour drive to Florida. It will end with grilling out and fireworks on the beach, which is cool way to end your day.

Happy 4th !!

Cookout, eat too much, drink..but only to excess, and then light off some fireworks. And it's all better if you go to somebody else's place and not have them over to yours.

What better way to say, "Happy Birthday USA" than with a few imported beers and fireworks made in China.

No set plans yet, but it looks like we'll be going on the bike for a bit and maybe a movie at night.

ok, we've decided...

BBQing steaks, corn on the cob, making homemade potato salad, making an apple pie (or apple crisp), with vanilla/caramel ice cream

Spent most of the day on the motorcycle in Newport, RI. Except for the rain, it was a nice day.

How about everyone else?

Ran a race in RI with Grumpy. Then I went home and power washed the front if the house in preparation for painting. Cooked dinner and had a few beers, then lit off some fireworks in the back yard while singing..."Wishes". (Put that in perspective of a hard day's work and beer!)
