That movement is called "Aquarium" by Camilie Saint-Saens. The whole piece is called Carnival of Animals and can be found on a lot of recordings with Prokiev's Peter and the Wolf. It's one my favorite pieces of the movie. Other tracks are (not in order as this is just from memory): Gymnopedie #1 - Erik Satie, Claire de Lune - Calude Debussy, ummm Ravel, and even Buddy Baker contributed some arrangements. It was recorded by teh London Symphony Orchestra.
I told you it was my favorite Disney Movie. Plus being a musician for over 20 years I'm a sucker for the classics.
Oh and fireyurgunz, you are correct it used to be played in Space Mountain. Surf rock guitar legend nostril Dale recorded it. |

I was like "What Nostril?" Then I realized UAB has filter in place for the bad words. So his name rhymes with "stick Dale" lol |

HA ... we got filterp0wned.
funny, because all the sites i went to, i was looking for pictures of him with nose rings. didn't find any either.
ha ... that explains that.
I guess we can't talk about Mr Nunis, or Jerry Van Dyke's brother. Or that Cook guy who runs Disney Studios. Or the Vice President of the United States. |
