Hey all,
I was thinking of doing WDW in the last week of March 2008, as they have it advertised as a "Wonderful Weeks of Disney" plan, where the crowds are thin: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/tickets/wwod/landing?id=WWODLandingPage

Has anyone ever gone during this period? Can anyone offer advice/thoughts on going during this time? I know I'll have to resist the urge to watch what's left of the NCAA men's hoops tourney during this time, but I think I can manage.

Thanks in advance!
- Kurt

Yup, one of the best times to visis.... after Christmas season and before Spring Breaks start....

Weather is usually wonderful also....

The only bad thing, is that this is when stuff goes down for referbs, cleaning, maint, etc..... things will go down for a few days, just to clean, things of that nature....

But other than that, very nice time to go...

In fact, the best time to go to any Disney park is in the winter. Not because of crowd control but the fact there is so much going on. Epcot's got Holiday Illuminations, Magic Kingdom's got A Very Merry Christmas parade and SO MUCH MORE!!! Very Happy

The interesting thing is, what use to be value season is now normal season. So a lot of folks plan for when the parks are slower.

Good for Disney's bottom line, not so good for those of us that don't like crowds

Well, I wouldn't be going down during the Xmas season, more like March.

Thank you for your replies!

Yeah, the holiday stuff will be down and over by March... heck, they usually start taking the stuff down by Jan 2 and is usually total gone by the end of the month (actually, within 2 weeks of starting, those guys move quick)...

But it is still a great time to go...
