Have you ever done this before? Are you a specific person in history, or just part of a regiment? _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

Hans, are you sure you're getting involved in the right re-enactment? I'm fairly sure that the Red Baron was WWI.....

Is this the one where Eric Cartman is in charge and everybody gets drunk? _________________ [ |

No, this is the week the South wins. Next week, the North. They trade off
Actually, I've been to one of these outside of Washington DC on an authentic battlefied, it's very cool...and very loud! |

How wonderfully PC of them.
( I hope that is not the weekend the kids righting their High School reports show up.)
Those re-enactments sound incredibly interesting, but I don't think I could convince the spouse to go to it. (Besides - there weren't a lot of Civil War battles in Connecticut. Ours re-enactments are mostly Revolutionary war or French and Indian War. (I keep cheering for the Indians, but they never win... Guess we need to adopt jahosifatz approach)
Please post pictures....
(Are Re-enactments like this unique to the US? Do they do the same in Europe?) |

I'd love to see pics, too. That's something I'd love to try one of these days. I live where the bulk of the Battle of Atlanta took place, and a nearby historic cemetery has re-enactors come out once a year for demonstrations. |
