The seating IS different. There are benches in the middle looking out towards the windows. After all, this set is not for transportation. So the view is primary. |

I really don't see them coming to WDW any time soon... because didn't they just rehab a handful of them and slowly rehabing the rest... There was talk of adding the new floors and the new handrail configuration to more of the cars (if not the whole fleet)...
I doubt they would referb the fleet here and then replace them all.....
And the monorails at DL have a different interior layout. From what I've heard, they seats are back to back and running down the middle of the car (parallel with the car), unlike the perpendicular seats that we have at WDW. This was done so people riding would get a better view out of the windows, especially since the monorail there is more like an attraction that actual transportation (like it is here).... This type of interior is great for viewing, but cuts down on rider capacity, which is opposite of what is needed here.
It is nice to dream... but I just don't see it happening....
I just want these running in a month or so, when we are there!!!! _________________ Up or Down North, South, East, or West An Adventurer's Life is Best! |

Admittedly the exterior styling is great, but the interior is just not suitable for Florida. Florida needs the capacity they get with the current arrangement. If anything, what Florida needs is more track. Bring some of the other resort/parks into the "loop" No reason a Loop through Animal kingdom lodge and park could not run to TTC. And that one of the parks could not loop in MGM or the other hotels like the Wilderness Lodge. Except of course... Money.
The cost of the track is so expensive and chances are they would neec to expand or supplliment the roundhouse. |

Now the question is when they will be out... They were suposed to be released President's day weekend. I heard they made 1 lap around the track, and lost about $20,000 worth of thee special paint. |
