I've been preparing for this for some time...I happen to REALLY enjoy DCA and will be saddened to see much of it go.
That said, I know the space can be used more effectively and I think the re-theming to early Hollywood may be spectacular. I just hope that with this plan set forth there aren't the major cuts seen prior to the original DCA being opened.
One thing that is for certain with Dinsey is change...as it should be. I do agree with the comments made about the Pixar theming. I would love to see a more general area theming and throw in some Pixar movie related rides...like we see in Fantasyland...a compilation of dark rides in a greater themed area.
I know these ideas have been given to those who toss around ideas...and a part of my idealistic self believes the imagineers know what they are doing. I miss many things that were the Disneyland I grew up with...and enjoy many of the things that have been added or plussed....
It will be interesting to see it all unfold. My trip next month will include a lot of love for the DCA I know and love...thank goodness for digital images...I can snap all I want for memories sake!

FINALLY!!!!! A Little Mermaid Ride!!! It's about time!!!! I hope it won't be a complete waste of space like Monster's Inc.
I honestly like the changes. The only problem is, DCA won't have central theme like AK, DHS, or Epcot. It'll be like DL and MK with a bunch of random lands.
I don't know. Soarn, Screamn', Grizzly, ToT and the Aladdin show is the only thing worth anything at DCA. It was a big mistake on Disney's part.
Wescot would have been awesome _________________ Attention travelers, please remain seated. Your vechile will be rotating backwards. -Spaceship Earth
