David had a pretty good day today. A visiting nurse came by to set up a schedule for them and the physical therapist. It's nice to know they're coming to the house. Makes life somewhat easier for David.
He's getting around the house very well with his walker and the pain has been minimal. I can't tell you how happy I am about that. Tomorrow he has the pleasure of being able to sit. It will be for short intervals, but it's better than just laying down all day.
I'll keep you guys posted as I can. Thank you so much again, for your well wishes. I read the entire thread to David last night and he was thrilled. _________________ *~deb~*

He always did have trouble with the big words. But he needs to get those reading skills up.
Glad DP is feeling a bit better. Just to be on the safe side, make sure they they send an old, ugly nurse. Don't want him home alone.
Does he have a Mickey decal on that walker? _________________ [ |

Frank, there is no Mickey sticker on his walker, but I'm sure Elizabeth will remedy that soon. She's been dying to decorate it like she decorated his cane.
David had a good day yesterday. Seeing as it was so nice out, he ventured out to walk in the driveway. He was so happy to get out of the house.
This morning he asked if he could go for a ride with me when I go get Elizabeth at a friends house so he'll get out again today.
Keep that pixie dust coming....it's helping! _________________ *~deb~*

Sounds like DP is doing well but here is more pixie dust just the same.
Glad to hear DP got out of the house. I can relate to being stuck inside.
Best wishes on a continued quick recovery. |

We just got back from the doctor's. David had his staples removed today. The doctor was very pleased by the movement in David's ankle and the fact that he could resist the doctor pushing on it. What a great day! _________________ *~deb~*
