OK...I know this one isn't popular with at least one of my fellow admins (who shall remain nameless)...but i remember the first time i noticed this queue music, standing in line, and actually laughed outloud several times. I was annoyed when when were ushered into the theater, because I wanted to hear the rest of it. Luckily, with UAB...I can. |

Definitely Space Mountain! I'll have to take FilmBuff's advice and look it up on YouTube.

el_duderino (and kudos on your nickname. I'm a believer in Dudeism as well), I can't find the exact video that made me tear up, but this is similar to it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBzIFHil0Rg
It's shakier than I'd like, but I'll see if I can find the other one.
(By the way, quickly off-topic, but I want to mention it since you're right here: Check out dudeism.com. You'll be in White Russian heaven)
Update at 6:41 p.m.: I found it! The video that makes me miss WDW's Space Mountain badly: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTRgBxldJOk |

Thanks, Film Buff. You're right. That definitely brings about a nostalgic feeling. My wife and I are planning a tentative trip for next year, and that gives me more motivation to save up the money for it.
Thanks for the compliments on my nickname, too. The dude abides.

OK, I know I'm dating myself severely, but my favorite queue sounds were/are:
the Jungle Cruise, especially when the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse used to
play "Swisskapolka".
Also, standing on the dock waiting for the Mark Twain Riverboat and hearing the music
coming from the Golden Horsehoe nearby.
And finally, how could no one mention the Peoplemover queue music? Talk about putting
your head in a different space !
Anyway, that's all for now. Until later, peace.
P.S. Does the Enchanted Tiki Garden count as queue music, or even a queue?
Oh well, later. |

Ahhh this is a tough one! Jungle Cruise rocks! I do also love the ToT, but I think I also have to cast a vote for IttbaB. The spoofs on the songs always make me smile.

What about area site & sound? So, not music that is specific to the ride, but more the general area. My vote is Great Movie Ride. It has all the great film scores from the past. |

Ok. So I know this may be a bit redundant, but in terms of sounds I'd have to go with
good ol' Adventureland. Honestly, the birds, the tribal drums, the occasional roar of
the wild(er) life, even the sounds of the JC boats just make the entire area that much
more 'alive', at least for me.
Later. Peace. |

Both the queue music at the TOT and Soarin really put you in the spirit of the theme for the ride. |

I'm with jbohn on this one. I really like the Magic Kingdom Jungle Cruise shortwave radio tracks. It's too bad you can only really hear them when you're near that ticket office facade. |
